The Board and Staff

The Uptown Lexington, Inc. Board of Directors is comprised of fourteen volunteers who share a common vision for the uptown center.
Vision Statement: Located at the southern tip of North Carolina’s Yadkin Valley wine region, uptown Lexington is the county’s cultural center, especially for celebrations of our rich barbecue heritage.  With an active and increasingly diverse community committed to business and government activities, uptown Lexington focuses on growing the large collection of locally-owned businesses.  Uptown Lexington’s historic district is a mixed use neighborhood filled with southern charm.

The staff is comprised of a full-time Executive Director and Office / Communications Manager, both funded through the general funds of Uptown Lexington, Inc.
